  How Many Temples Did Solomon Build?

  did wt studies ever get into that?.

  since the bible mentions that he built other temples for other gods, does it stand to reason that he had any particular devotion to yahweh?.

  which gods were the other temples built for?.

  Solomon worshipped Ashtoreth/ Astarte and Milcom/Molech.

  1Kings 11:5

  It has been said that the Song of Solomon was written as a tribute to Ashtoreth.

  There were probably others. I have no idea how many temples he built.

  Clarify- I'm going back to Meetings to save my wifes sanity! What would you do?

  i recently posted that my wife has had mental/depression problems since she hurt her back at work 12 months ago....and since after years of picking on the witnesses by me, she finally lost her faith in them and became in-active....victory i thought!

  slowly her stress levels began to rise...she quit work and rehab....then the sleeplessness, wierd behavior..wild agression....bizzar stuff.

  we split for two months after much stress...she called me back home crying and i relent...she lost many kilo's {pounds} in weight, and isn't doing well i want to help, i was heartbroken to see this.

  I am not in your shoes, but if I were, I think I'd go back fr a while and see how it goes I would only attend but not participate in anything.

  Then I would try slowly fading again and see if it works.

  If she's comfortable once she's back, it might not bother her so much if you slowly stop going.

  Or it might be the opposite and she could expect a lot from you. I guess you just do the best you can under the circumstances.

  The Kabballah is supposed to come from Solomon. There is the Key of Solomon, an old magickal grimoire.

  There are also some magick traditions that heavily use the name Jehovah and the tetragramaton in their rituals. These are said to be passed cown from Solomon.

  Some Wiccans and I believe the Rosecrucians use some Solomonic rituals.

  That's about all I can tell you on this one.

  i have been lurking around here for a few months and i'm really excited about participating in some of the discussions.

  i have already enjoyed several late nights and early mornings catching up on some of the older posts.. .

  when i first came across a link to this board my hand trembled as i held an outstretched finger just above the mouse button not quite sure whether i was prepared to go past what seemed to me to be the point of no return.

  this, in a nut shell, is my story.. i was a third generation witness and i did all the normal stuff we were expected to do.

  left school early, pioneered, went to bethel, ms and all that palava.
